# CDFI Fund Transparency Act

This bill requires the head of a federal program that funds community development to give Congress an annual report on how the program is working. Specifically, it says the Treasury Secretary (or someone they designate) must testify once a year before two congressional committees about what the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund has been doing over the past year.

The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund is a government program that provides money to banks and financial organizations that serve low-income communities and underserved areas.
