This applies to all types of inhalers—whether they're rescue inhalers you use when you have trouble breathing or maintenance inhalers you use regularly to prevent symptoms—as well as the equipment needed to use them like spacers, masks, and nebulizers.

Essentially, this law recognizes that inhalers are essential medications that people with breathing disorders need regularly, and it removes financial barriers that might prevent someone from getting or refilling them. By keeping costs low and predictable, the bill aims to ensure that cost isn't a reason someone skips their medication or goes without the breathing treatment they need.
