# No Forced Labor on TV Act

This bill makes it illegal for anyone to advertise products for sale on television (or presumably other media) if those products were made using forced labor in China. For most everyday consumers, this bill wouldn't directly change what you can buy—it just prevents companies from advertising certain products. However, it could affect what products get advertised on TV and other platforms, and it might push companies to be more careful about where and how their products are manufactured. The law would take effect 180 days after it's passed, giving businesses time to review their supply chains and advertising practices.
