# Understanding This Resolution on Sunscreen in Schools

This resolution is essentially the House of Representatives saying that kids should be able to use sunscreen at school without jumping through bureaucratic hoops. Right now, many schools treat sunscreen like a medication and lock it away in the nurse's office, requiring a doctor's note before a student can even apply it.
