The bill addresses this by setting up a National Rural Export Center and up to 9 regional centers across the country, all run through the U.S. Commerce Department's existing trade office.

These centers will provide practical, customized help to rural businesses looking to export. They'll do market research tailored to specific products and companies, help with strategic planning, and connect businesses with trade shows and international trade missions. For example, a rural food producer could get detailed research about which countries want their product, what regulations they need to follow, and how to reach buyers there.

The bill also requires these centers to track their success by measuring how many businesses they help, how many go on to use other export services, and how much money in exports they actually generate. Each center will have a website with data, best practices, and contact information so rural businesses know how to get help. The whole system needs to be up and running within a year, with the national center established first within six months.
