Additionally, the bill creates a federal task force to improve how conservation efforts are measured and tracked, ensuring that the environmental benefits are accurately documented.

The legislation also invests in agricultural education by funding teaching programs at colleges, community colleges, and vocational schools to train the next generation of farmers and agricultural professionals, including paid work-based learning opportunities. Finally, the bill addresses an invasive species problem by allowing the harvesting and sale of certain catfish species that are damaging the Chesapeake Bay ecosystem, while transferring oversight of these fish from the Department of Agriculture to the Food and Drug Administration.
