# Children's Health Protection Act of 2025

The bill requires the EPA to keep this office running and gives it clear responsibilities. The office's director will identify environmental dangers that hurt children more than adults—things like lead in water, air pollution near schools, or toxic chemicals in neighborhoods. The office will work to make sure federal rules and programs actually protect kids from these dangers, especially in communities that already face the most pollution. It will also coordinate research, give advice to other government agencies, help doctors understand environmental health risks to children, and work with schools to create environmental health programs. The bill funds this work with about $7.8 million per year for the office itself and $13.2 million per year overall through 2030.
