# Made in America Manufacturing Finance Act

To qualify for these higher loan limits, a company needs to meet two basic requirements: it has to be a small business that primarily does manufacturing work (like making products in factories), and all of its production facilities must be located in the United States. This requirement ensures the benefits go to companies actually producing goods domestically rather than importing finished products. The bill doesn't change who qualifies as a "small business"—it just gives manufacturers in that category access to bigger loans.

The practical impact is that American manufacturers could use these larger loans to expand their operations, buy new equipment, hire more workers, or invest in modernizing their facilities. A small factory owner who previously couldn't borrow enough to upgrade their machinery or open a new production line might now be able to do so. This could help domestic manufacturing grow and create jobs, though it also means these companies will take on larger debts that they'll need to repay.
