When you visit, you'd answer questions about what kind of help you're looking for, then the site would show you relevant services available in your ZIP code or within various distances (1, 5, 10, 50, or 100 miles). The website would also collect feedback from users about how helpful it is and allow people to opt in to receive follow-up calls or emails about additional resources.

The bill also creates a grant program to help states build systems that gather information about local pregnancy and parenting resources to feed into this national website. States would receive funding to organize and verify resources in their areas, which could then be listed on pregnancy.gov. The resources covered would include mentorship programs, health services, financial assistance, childcare, housing support, mental health services, adoption information, and various other support categories. However, the bill specifically prohibits any organization that performs, refers for, or counsels in favor of abortion from being listed on the website or receiving grant money—this is a significant restriction that would exclude many existing healthcare providers and nonprofits from the resource directory.
