# Army Security Agency Monument Act

This bill directs the Secretary of the Army to place a monument at Arlington National Cemetery to honor veterans who served in the Army Security Agency during World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War era (specifically those who served between 1945 and 1976). The Army Security Agency was a military intelligence organization that handled signals intelligence and communications security for the Army during these critical periods in American history.

The monument won't cost taxpayers anything because the bill requires the National Army Security Agency Association—a veterans' organization—to pay for all expenses. This includes preparing the site, constructing the monument, installing it, and maintaining it going forward. The Army Secretary and the veterans' association must work together to approve the design before anything gets built, ensuring the monument meets both military standards and the wishes of the veterans it honors.

Army Security Agency Monument Act This bill directs the Department of the Army to place in Arlington National Cemetery a monument honoring Army Security Agency veterans if the National Army Security Agency Association agrees to certain requirements, including that the association pay the monument's site preparation, construction, and maintenance costs.
