For airlines, the bill requires them to publicly report how much money they make from ancillary fees like baggage charges and seat selection so consumers can see which airlines charge the most. The law also protects you when buying tickets by requiring sellers to disclose how many tickets are available and whether they actually have the ticket in stock before you buy it. For phone and internet services, the bill requires companies to show you one clear price on your bill and tell you when promotional rates end and prices will go up. Early termination fees for phone and internet services are limited to only reasonable amounts, and you get a refund for unused days if you cancel mid-billing cycle.
